Are You Ready to Do
REALwork©?
Coaching is a relatively new profession and the last 5 years or so has seen explosive growth in the number of “personal”, “business” and “life coaches” as well as entities set up to train them.
“Separating the wheat from the chafe”can be confusing. On this page we’ll tell you the kind of results our clients have reported and we’ll give you a sense of our guiding beliefs, approach to client projects and how we’re different from most coaching companies.
When you work with us you can expect to develop clarity about the characteristics that truly make you unique and which, if strategically applied will garner the best results and lead to the greatest career satisfaction. In short, we'll help you discover and create what I call REALwork©.

REALwork© is defined as:
Rewarding. You are making a contribution that matters to you. You feel you are compensated fairly and appropriately. You work in an environment and with people who support you and bring out your best.
Expressive. You know what your unique strengths and abilities are and you’re able to use them on a daily basis in the work that you do. The result of spending at least 75% of your time expressing your brilliance is that you produce greater and more satisfying results with less stress and more enjoyment. Your work no longer feels like work.
Authentic. You’re clear about what’s most important to you. You have a life purpose or mission and know what you truly value. Your career is a means to fulfill your purpose and values, rather than something that forces you to compromise what matters most.
Learning. Your career stretches you and facilitates on-going growth and development.
Our Approach:

Phase 1: Assess Current Reality.
Through a series of one on one meetings and by utilizing a
variety of profiles and assessment tools, we will establish a solid foundation
for our coaching relationship. The objectives of this phase are:
- Identification of specific results expected.
- Clarity regarding roles and responsibilities.
- A dear picture of the client' s areas of strength as well as those requiring attention.
- Agreement regarding financial terms
Phase 2: Envision and Explore a Compelling Future
Through a review of the information gathered in Phase 1 we will formulate a plan of action consisting of measurable objectives and strategies for their achievement including clear timelines.
Specifically we will:
- Explore valves and vision
- Map out long and short term goals
- Identify the type of coaching style that will best suit the development process
- Strategize next actions
Phase 3: Action-The Coaching Cycle
Here we enter the coaching cycle and begin implementation of our action plans. Through weekly one-on-one meetings we review progress, address obstacles as they occur, and refine strategies as required.
The coaches role is to support, challenge, and stretch the client in order to enhance overall performance and encourage increasing self awareness and self responsibility.
Achieving new results requires developing new habits and behaviours. It expected that clients will experience some back-sliding and "failures" along the way. However the coaching relationship provides the structure and space to turn those set-backs into learning experiences to be leveraged into the achievement of the clients goals.
Phase 4: Leverage Key Learning Through Evaluation and Follow-up
Evaluation is an on-going part of the coaching process. Each coaching session includes a review of progress to date and evaluation assessments are used periodically throughout the coaching engagement. In the final stage we will conduct a summary evaluation of the coaching intervention and explore needs for follow-up coaching.
Of primary importance at this stage is ensuring that the client is able to translate gains made into long-term sustainable results.
